PLAN to use this space and invite your friends to do the same. Spend time each week (or even each day!) praying, meditating, journaling, or just relaxing at Arkansas House of Prayer.

PARTICIPATE by volunteering.

Greeters at Arkansas House of Prayer

Volunteer Greeters keep our House open on Saturdays, 9am-5pm and Sundays, 1pm-5pm.  Our Greeters give 2, 4, or more hours per weekend to greet newcomers and welcome them to our House.  Greeters offer a quiet hello and show visitors where to find the restroom and where to put their belongings before entering the prayer room. Greeters will want to make use of the extra time in quiet to catch up on reading, writing, or even social networking (we have wifi)!

Other Volunteer Opportunities

In addition to Greeters every weekend, we also have a Garden Team that works year round to maintain the simple beauty of our landscape and gardens.  Garden volunteers gather on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month, 1-3pm.

Volunteers also help with general House-work and organizing in the library. If you are interested, please email us or leave a message at the House of Prayer, 501-821-7773. We would welcome your help.

PLEDGE or make a financial contribution to Arkansas House of Prayer. We are still trying to raise the last $110,000 to complete Phase One of the landscaping plan, designed by P. Allen Smith. We would welcome gifts for this purpose.

We also have an endowment which we hope will grow over the years. Gifts for the endowment are also welcome and needed. The House of Prayer is the perfect place to send a memorial. We will acknowledge the gift to the family and make a calligraphic record of it in a beautiful donor book that is in our library. We would welcome your help financially in any way.
