Honoring Our First Ten Years … and Our Next

Where were you ten years ago when the Arkansas House of Prayer first opened its doors? In 2007 the first iPhone was released, Tim Tebow won the Heisman, and Justin Bieber was still an unknown kid from Canada.

Where will you be ten years from now? In 2027 the world will be a place of technological, social, and political changes that surpass the limits of present-day imagination.

On the afternoon of Sunday, December 10th, we will gather as an interfaith community to celebrate the past ten years. I see this celebration as more than just a re-dedication of the structure itself. At the heart of the Arkansas House of Prayer’s ten-year anniversary is a three-fold mission of outreach, investment, and creation.

I hope this celebration is an opportunity to reach out to individuals and groups who have not yet experienced the silence within our walls. Hand in hand with outreach is gratitude for the investment of the resources, time, and talents of our current patrons.

The Arkansas House of Prayer is operated exclusively through donations, and I am excited to personally meet and thank the many donors who have made this ministry such a success.

And finally, we will gather to honor a vision for the future. In holding a space for silence, we are indeed creating the future.

Please mark your calendars, invite your friends, and come join us for a time of fellowship and fun.
